Not sure where exactly this website gets its data, but if you have an investment property and are unsure what the average market rents in surrounding areas are, this could be a good resource... it states it obtains its data from "from publicly available sources on the internet and in print" and that it does not use "private" data. Accurate or not, it's nice to have another tool... it helps to find "averages"
Just as there are inherent problems with Zillow.... lots of folk look at it.
Just use it with a sceptical mind and don't rely on it as an end all.
